Donna Auguste, PhD — Founder and CEO of Auguste Research Group, LLC

Dr. Auguste has earned BS (University of California at Berkeley), MS (Regis University), and PhD (University of Colorado Boulder) engineering degrees for her academic work in electrical engineering, computer science, artificial intelligence, and data science.  Her career experiences have included developing, deploying, and supporting software products, hardware products, and technology-based services.  Her interdisciplinary research involves use of applied data science and sensor technology as an instructional pathway for STEAM education.  Dr. Auguste  has been flying drones for four years, primarily for coastal and conservation work in Southern California.  She has introduced over 100 teen and adults learners to FAA Part 107 training and hands-on flight experience; has trained Deaf drone pilots; and has been a member of  outreach teams bringing STEAM to K-12 classrooms.
